Garden centres receive awards at Expo 2010
Winners of Landscape Ontario’s Awards of Excellence for
Garden Centres and Growers were announced Monday, Oct. 18, at a luncheon
ceremony held in conjunction with the Garden Centre Symposium at Expo.

Oct. 22, 2010 – Winners of Landscape Ontario’s Awards of Excellence for
Garden Centres and Growers were announced Monday, Oct. 18, at a luncheon
ceremony held in conjunction with the Garden Centre Symposium at Expo.
These awards were created by Landscape Ontario as a way to recognize
the growers of the ‘best’ and the retailers who have been deemed as
‘excellent’.
 
“In the current business environment, companies have to find a way to
‘wow’ customers and facilitate buying decisions. Today, through our
Awards, we had the opportunity to recognize growers and retailers who
excel at maximizing customer merchandise contact and make it easy for
customers to buy product,” comments Kristen McIntyre, Landscape
Ontario's conference and event coordinator. “Being recognized in front
of buyers and suppliers who appreciate the workmanship, quality and
commitment that each of the winners have invested into their companies
and products is an honour for the recipients,” she said.
