Bitrex launches new awareness campaign

July 5, 2012, Miami, FL — Integrated marketing firm Izzo Gaudelli Communications (IGC) has partnered with Bitrex, a safety ingredient brand used as a taste aversive in pesticides and other products to help prevent accidental poisoning.
Bitrex is a harmless substance, but only a few parts per million are enough to make potentially harmful products highly unpalatable. For this reason, Bitrex is added to a wide range of garden, household, automotive, do-it-yourself and other consumer products worldwide to prevent accidental ingestion.
IGC has been tasked with enhancing awareness of the benefits of Bitrex through a public relations campaign focusing on media relations, trade show support and partnerships with government and non-government organizations charged with protecting the safety of children and pets.
