BioWorks has a new director of sales

Jim McCanlies Industry veteran Jim McCanlies has been named Director of Sales at BioWorks.
In his new position, McCanlies will be responsible for serving the company’s core customers, managing the sales process, and growing the BioWorks footprint in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Central America with an expanding portfolio of products, services, and programs.
“Jim is a welcome addition to the BioWorks team.” said Ted McDonald, VP of sales and marketing. “His sales experience, customer focus, and leadership abilities will make significant contributions to our ability to provide more personalized programs and solutions to our customers.”
McCanlies has over 25 years of sales and management experience in the horticulture and agriculture industries. He previously held positions at Global Ag Risk Solutions, AgYield, Master Tag, and Hines Horticulture among other organizations.
McCanlies’ responsibilities ranged from operations to business development to sales training which “will benefit BioWorks as we continue to develop processes to better serve core customers in new and innovative ways,” states the press release.
