Bevo Agro CFO earns major CGA awards

Dec. 17, 2010, Langley, B.C. – Bevo Agro Inc. CFO John Hoekstra earned
the W. Curry McCalpin Award and was awarded the Gold Medal by the
Certified General Accountants (CGA) of British Columbia for the highest
overall average in the program for 2010.

This award goes to the B.C. graduating student having the highest overall average. Hoekstra also received a Top Ten Recognition Award by The Certified General Accountants Association of Canada. The awards are granted to students who rank as the highest academic performers.

Hoekstra was elected to Bevo’s board of directors and appointed chief financial officer in December 2009.

Founded in 1908, the CGA of Canada serves 75,000 members and students in Canada and more than 90 countries.
