Ball’s Plug Punchables deal extended

Dec. 15, 2010, West Chicago, IL – Tagawa Greenhouse Enterprises, LLC has
signed a three-year extension on its agreement with Ball Seed as the
exclusive distributor of the Plug Punchables® products.

Dec. 15, 2010, West Chicago, IL – Tagawa Greenhouse Enterprises, LLC has signed a three-year extension on its agreement with Ball Seed as the exclusive distributor of the Plug Punchables® products. The partnership is extended through 2013.

3857_ballseed_plugpunchableThe agreement was signed during Ball’s regional sales event in front of Ball sales reps from the Northeast, Great Lakes and Canada. “Plug Punchables is a winning program for greenhouses and has been a great success for Ball Seed,” says Mark Snyder, director Supply Chain North America for Ball Seed. “We are in our ninth year of distributing Punchables to our customers, and Tagawa has been a terrific partner throughout.”

Tagawa Greenhouse Enterprises holds four patents in the United States and Canada on the Punchables system. “We are happy to extend our exclusive partnership with Ball Seed through 2013, and we have great confidence in the Ball sales team to continue the growth of Punchables sales,” says CEO Randy Tagawa.

In related news, Ball Seed is approaching its 1,000th sale of the Punch ‘N Gro® plug transplanter, which is manufactured by Blackmore Co. in Belleville, MI. Ball is planning a specially “minted” machine for this occasion for delivery to one lucky customer.
