Autumn has arrived

October 2, 2008  By Amanda Ryder

Here in Southwestern Ontario, I've
been in a bit of fall-denial and haven't been quite ready to give up
the warm days of summer. The temperature here has been up, the
leaves were still hanging tough and it was easy to forget that
technically, the season had changed.
This week, not so much. Come Monday,
my lawn was filled with leaves and it was time to pull those sweaters out of the closet.
With a new season upon us, I
thought this would be the perfect time to ask you: what new events or
promotions are you introducing at your centre this fall?

leaves were still hanging tough and it was easy to forget that technically, the season had changed. This week, not so much. Come Monday,
my lawn was filled with leaves and it was time to pull those sweaters out of the closet.
The flip side is that what seemed like an overnight change has got me full-on ready for fall.
I'm looking forward to pumpkins, the pretty changing red and gold leaves, mums on the front porch and weekends spent enjoying the cooler, yet tolerable, temperatures.

With a new season upon us, I thought this would be the perfect time to ask you: what new events or promotions are you introducing at your centre this fall? Or what kinds of things help drive customers to your centre during the month of October? Comment on our blog to share your thoughts, stories or any pictures (e-mail to aryder@annexweb.com) you might have of autumn displays and happenings at your centre.
