Aquascape launching water feature training programs

Dec. 30, 2013, St. Charles, IL — Aquascape will launch two new educational portals in 2014, offering online and in-person training on retailing and installing water features.

Aquascape Academy Online will launch on Jan, 1, 2014, and instructor-led classroom and hands-on training sessions will begin on Jan. 21 at the company's headquarters in St. Charles, Ill.

Aquascape Academy Online will offer a variety of free courses to help contractors, retailers, and distributors succeed with water features. Course components will continuously evolve for varying degrees of experience and knowledge and will include video sessions, iPad tutorials, a variety of digital resources, PowerPoint presentations, and quizzes to test knowledge gained throughout the coursework.

Water feature professionals will be able to access the online training platform to help fulfill requirements for becoming a Certified Aquascape Contractor. Participants will also be able to earn badges to share on social sites to document their progress.

The company's Aquascape Academy Hands-On training and classroom sessions will feature free two-day, instructor-led classroom and hands-on training sessions to educate attendees on why water features are a smart choice for growing their business and expanding profits in 2014 and beyond.

Hands-on construction segments will be held in Aquascape’s new climate-controlled training facility and provide in-the-field experience for both new and experienced water feature installers.

The combined classroom and hands-on sessions are currently slated for Jan. 21 to 22, 2014, Feb. 18 to 19, 2014, and March 4 to 5, 2014.
