Jan. 4, 2010, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ont. – Specialties Robert Legault
hosted its eighth annual charity golf tournament at the Royal Niagara Golf
Course.
The event was sold out with local growers and suppliers who helped raise
over $16,000. The money helps support both the Christian School Foundation and
the Warehouse of Hope.
The School Foundation represents privately owned institutions and has
always been a big part of the grower community in Southern Ontario. The
Warehouse of Hope is a non-profit organization operated by the VanderZalm
family and local volunteers, providing basic necessities to the underprivileged
in overseas countries.
Over $100,000 has been raised for the charities since the tournament was
launched. The SRL team thanks everyone for their support, and is looking
forward to another successful tournament this year.
