March 11, 2013, Rivière-du-Loup, Que. — Premier Tech has acquired its partner Falienor, a French leader in the formulation of growing media.
With this acquisition, Premier Tech integrates the expertise of some 110 skilled team members to its European team which is now close to 450.
This transaction allows Premier Tech to increase its global presence in Europe, and its Horticultural and Agricultural Group to internationalize its activities beyond North America.
While Falienor will continue to operate on the professional growers and nurseries market in France, it will also collaborate with Premier Tech on the deployment of various natural active ingredients (growth stimulants and biological control agents) for the specialized crops and large crops markets.
This acquisition adds to the four transactions Premier Tech concluded in the last 12 months and allows the company to continue strengthening and improving its presence in its various markets.
All these acquisitions are designed to better its commercial offerings as well as its strategic and technological positioning, notes a company spokesperson.
