Apr. 5, 2012, Ottawa — The Pond Clinic has won an award for outstanding work designing and building one of the most unique aquatic landscapes in Ontario.
The Pond Clinic won a Landscape Ontario Horticultural Trades Association Award for its work developing a natural swimming pond, waterfall, stream and grotto at the Ermuth Residence in Ottawa. The project features a cantilevered wooden dock that over hangs the pond and connects to a natural children's wading pool and a stone bridge leading to an in-ground mineral spa.
Each year, the Landscape Ontario Horticultural Trades Association Awards of Excellence honour the province's finest landscape construction, maintenance and design projects.
The 2012 winners were announced Jan. 10 at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Toronto.
