Strategic partnership will boost landscape sector

February 5, 2016  By Dave Harrison

Feb. 5, 2016, Toronto — Landscape Ontario Horticultural Trades Association, one of the world’s most vibrant horticultural trades associations, and LMN, offering budgeting, estimating, mobile timetracking and scheduling software for the landscape industry, have formed a strategic partnership starting this year.

The agreement positions LMN as a leading sponsor of the association’s trade shows, magazines and educational initiatives.

Synergy and brainstorming between the two organizations has already given birth to a new idea: the Leaders Summit, planned for Feb. 16-17 at Blue Mountain, Ont.

“We are proud of the new partnership with LMN because our focus and LMN’s focus is identical: members’ success,” said Landscape Ontario executive director Tony DiGiovanni.

The two-day, retreat style event will address challenges facing landscape business owners, and suggest solutions to their problems based on proven systems and processes.

Speakers include Mike Lysecki, Jeffrey Scott and Scott Kress; a few topic areas are family-owned business, upselling, profitability assessment, waste elimination and more.

“My career in the landscape business taught me that professionals need the proper tools to succeed,” said Mark Bradley, president and CEO of LMN. “I can’t imagine a better partner than Landscape Ontario to help get those tools into the right hands.”
