OGVG welcomes five new board members

Oct. 30, 2013, Leamington, Ont. – The Ontario Greenhouse Vegetable
Growers (OGVG) elected five new directors for the 2013 – 2014 growing
season during its annual general meeting in London.

Oct. 30, 2013, Leamington, Ont. – The Ontario Greenhouse Vegetable Growers (OGVG) elected five new directors for the 2013 – 2014 growing season during its annual general meeting in London.

The voting resulted in five members being elected to the 2014 Board of Directors for a two-year term:

 • Tony Coppola – District 1.

• Jordan Kniaziew – District 1.

• Naunihal Gill – District 2.

• Marco Hoogenboom – District 2.

• James Neven – District 2.

They will join the following five current board members whose terms continue through to Oct. 31, 2014:

• James Cornies – District 1.

• Paul Mastronardi – District 1.

• Jim Slater – District 1.

• Jan VanderHout – District 2.

• Jim Veri – District 2 .

ABOUT OGVG

The Ontario Greenhouse Vegetable Growers (OGVG) is a not-for-profit organization representing over 220 farmers who grow greenhouse tomato, cucumber and bell pepper crops in Ontario, Canada. OGVG was formed in 1967.

The organization lobbies and conducts research on behalf of the Ontario greenhouse growers. OGVG also promotes greenhouse vegetables through various media and tradeshows.
