Passports ready? South Africa tour in the fall
Written by Valleybrook Gardens
Jan. 18, 2012 — “South Africa offers a great deal to those with an interest in horticulture,” says John Schroeder of Valleybrook Gardens, in describing the upcoming tour he has helped organize.

“A great climate, tremendous plant diversity, lovely gardens, a long agricultural tradition as well as outstanding garden centres are just a few of the reasons."

A number of garden centres will be visited on the tour that begins Oct. 25 with a Kruger safari. After the 15-day main tour, there is an opportunity to add a four-day visit to Victoria Falls and additional safari lodges.

“What makes this trip so appealing however are all the other experiences we will enjoy,” says Schroeder. “An African safari belongs on everyone’s bucket list. Great sightseeing opportunities, history, architecture, wineries and meeting locals will fill our time. This is not a trip packed with only business visits. Life is too short for only work.”

The itinerary and registration forms are available online at valleybrook.com, or call 800-824-1120 or e-mail This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it for more details.
