Jan. 2, 2012, Simcoe, Ont. — We're now into the home stretch in
collecting responses to the first ever Greenhouse Canada grower survey.
If you haven't already filled it out, please check it out. It's very important to note survey responses will be strictly confidential and data from this research will be reported only in the aggregate.
The survey should take about 20 minutes or so to complete.
As an incentive, we will have a grand prize draw for a new electronic “tablet” to be drawn from among respondents who submit their e-mail addresses. Participation in the draw is voluntary. E-mail addresses are kept separate from the survey results.
We hope the survey will provide a snapshot of current activity in the greenhouse sector.
How do 2011 sales compare to 2010? How do production volumes compare for those two years? What forecasts (employment levels, product prices) are being made for 2012?
More information will be included on our website and via e-newsletters.
The results will be published in April.
