Open house for Guelph trials program

Aug. 5, 2011, Guelph, Ont. – The University of Guelph trial garden program will be showcased on Friday, Aug. 12.

The day kicks off at 9 a.m. at the Landscape Ontario location (
7856 Fifth Line South, 
Milton). Guest speakers 
Case Vanderkruk of Connon/NVK and Youbin Zheng of University of Guelph will discuss the research and experiential perspectives on microbial soil additives. 
A guided tour of the U of Guelph/Landscape Ontario trial garden will conclude the morning session.

In the afternoon, from 1:30 to 3, the focus moves to the Guelph Trial Garden at the Turfgrass Institute 
(328 Victoria Road South, at College Avenue, in Guelph. Visitors can tour the Guelph Trial Garden research plots and get updates on turf research.
