July 22, 2011, Niagara Falls, Ont. – The Niagara Parks School of Horticulture will launch a special archive exhibit on July 25 in honour of its 75th anniversary.
“A Portrait of Growing: Reflections from the Archives” will be open daily from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. through to Aug. 28 inside the school’s Lecture Hall at 2565 Niagara Parkway.
Photo boards and display cabinets will showcase memorabilia and artifacts from all eras of the school’s history, including such features as a copy of the original plant order from the Netherlands that established the gardens in 1936, international awards, school crests, jackets and diplomas.
