Previewing next month’s IFTF Expo

Oct. 27, 2010, Vijfhuizen, the Netherlands – The International Floriculture Trade Fair IFTF will open one week from today.

This specialized event, being held Nov. 3-5, will be the focal point of the international flower and plant industry.

More then 700 companies will be exhibiting in Vijfhuizen and Aalsmeer in two different trade fairs. One will be held in the FloraHolland Flower Auction and the other in Expo Haarlemmermeer. Closely located to each other and connected with a free bus shuttle service, it will take 15 minutes to travel from one fair to the other.

Also on all three days of the show, more than 30 companies are holding open houses. Details can be found here.

Fifteen of the companies have organized a special bus shuttle service during the three days of the fairs.

On the first day (Nov. 3), several seminars are being scheduled in the auditorium of the fairgrounds. The seminars on this day can be attended free of charge.

On the second day (Nov. 4), a commercial congress is being organized.

Entrance is free of charge for trade visitors who register online. Admission tickets are also available onsite for 20 euros. The exhibition is open daily from 10 hrs to 18 hrs.
