Ball Seed Customer Day on July 30
Written by Dave Harrison

July 23, 2010, West Chicagao, IL – Ball Seed Customer Day is back and better than ever this year. North America’s largest industry field day event will include informative presentations from industry experts and tours of the latest varieties in The Gardens at Ball's expanded evaluation gardens.

Set for Friday, July 30, customers of Ball Seed will have the chance to visit The Gardens at Ball, located at 622 Town Road, for a full day of activities and festivities.

This year The Gardens will feature over 3,000 varieties of plants representing 90 different breeding companies in 1,200 mixed and solo containers and beds. Ball Seed Customer Day visitors can stroll the nine acres of annual and perennial gardens on their own, or take part in guided tours.

Attendees will also learn tips on improving their business from presentations and demonstrations offered by dozens of Ball Seed industry experts and key suppliers. Learn about sales-generating programs from Ball, such as Burpee Home Gardens®, Wave®, Simply Beautiful®, and BVI seed quality. Plus the latest products and varieties will be introduced, including Black Velvet petunia, Tropical Bronze Scarlet canna, Zahara™ Double zinnia, and PowWow™ Echinacea.

“At Ball Seed your success is our passion, and we’re rolling out the red carpet for our customers this July as a way to thank them for a wonderful season,” says Jan Patranella, senior director of Customer Relations for Ball Seed. “Historically, Ball Seed Customer Day has been a fun and relaxing way each summer for our special guests to connect with the people who are dedicated to making their businesses successful. We’re thrilled to bring back this event, and to make it even bigger and better in 2010.”
