May 26, 2010, Laval, Que. — Fernand Corbeil Horticultural Products has been honoured with the 2010 Dunamis Award in the Distributor-Wholesaler category.The award was presented by the Laval Chamber of Commerce and Industry before an audience of 500 members of the Laval business community. Company president Stéphane Corbeil thanked everyone who directly or indirectly contributed to his company’s success.

Taking part in the presentation were, left to right, Alexandre Joly of Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton, Stéphane Corbeil of Fernand Corbeil Horticultural Products, and Marc Gauthier of RBC Royal Bank.

Worthy of note, the 2010 award is the second Dunamis prize for the company, after its 2008 win in the Entrepreneurial or Family Challenge category.

The company was founded in the 1960s by Fernand Corbeil, and specializes in the sale and distribution of horticultural equipment and supplies. After over 40 years in business, it now carries over 12,000 products and serves a client list of over 2,000 companies.
