March 31, 2010, St. Catharines – Specialties Robert Legault and Berger Peat Moss recently hosted their 17th annual Grower Appreciation Night in St. Catharines, warmly welcoming over 160 growers.

Berger Peat Moss and SRL are celebrating 30 years of working together.

Two seminars were presented. Mel Sawaya of Focus Greenhouse Management had the topic of “Evaluating your Greenhouse: Refocus.” The second seminar was presented by Brian Cantin, from Berger Peat Moss, who spoke on “Proper soil testing: Pros and Cons.”

Following the seminars, guests enjoyed a reception and dinner with the SRL and Berger team. Among the special attendees were Claudin Berger, Valerie Berger and Melissa Berger of Berger Peat Moss. SRL and Berger have been working together for 30 years and Berger presented a commemorative plaque to Robert Legault to highlight this special event.
