Oct. 14, 2009, Toronto — Visitors to the Greenhouse Canada booth at this month’s Canadian Greenhouse Conference enjoyed the chance to enter a couple of draws sponsored by the magazine.

Margaret Serrao, the perennials manager with Fiesta Gardens Garden Centre, won Herbaceous Perennial Plants, Third Edition, in a draw sponsored by the Annex Bookstore.

Many visitors signed up to subscribe to our online digital edition. Kyle Griffin of Griffin’s Greenhouses was the grand prize winner, receiving a Garmin GPS unit. Runners-up were Ed and Annette Weesjes of Family Flowers Inc.; Gerry Smith, production coordinator at Brookdale Treeland Nurseries; and Andrew Dick, a production specialist with De Ruiter Seeds. They received 8-gig USB memory sticks.
