Sept. 18, 2009, Grimsby, Ont. — Ultra Grow Ltd. is a wholesale greenhouse operation located on the escarpment in Grimsby, Ontario. The company was incorporated in 1988, and has expanded from 35,000 square feet to 135,000 square feet, all under glass. Ultra Grow has been focusing on the bougainvillea crop for the past four years, and it now encompasses 60 per cent of its production. The plants are grown from the company’s own cuttings, using patent varieties from Europe that have been selected for indoor use, as well as for balconies and patios. They are available for shipping from April until September, in various sizes and colours.
