July 17, 2009, Grimsby, Ont. —The outdoor trial area and gardens of Sobkowich Greenhouses will again be open for industry viewing on July 28-29.
Featured will be an extensive presentation of all Proven Winner® items and combinations, including the new plant introductions for the 2010 season. Over 300 individual plants and combinations are on display for evaluation.
Growers can tour at their own pace and see how these plants perform in a typical southern Ontario climate. “Our staff will be able to answer all questions about the plants, the Proven Winner programs and the facilities,” said company vice-president Ed Sobkowich, Jr.
Also on hand will be sales representatives from many of the broker companies that sell the Sobkowich Greenhouses product line.
Once again, John Gaydos from the Proven Winners team will be on hand to answer all technical questions.
Sobkowich Greenhouses is located at 398 Maple Ave. in Grimsby, just minutes off the Queen Elizabeth Highway (QEW) in the Niagara region, at Exit 71. The open house will operate from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. For more information, visit the company’s website, or phone 905-945-8870, ext. 221 or 223.
