April 3, 2009, Toronto — Landscape Ontario hosted another successful Congress trade show earlier this year. Professionals from the horticulture, lawn and garden, and landscape industries gathered for three days at the Toronto Congress Centre. Featured were over 600 exhibitors and hundreds of new products, along with a variety of workshops and networking opportunities.
“Each year, attendees and exhibitors come together to preview the latest trends, newest tools and innovations in the industry,” said show manager Paul Day, “and this year was no exception. The show floor was a hub of activity with deals taking place throughout the aisles.”

Attendees gave Congress 2009 high marks for the many new product introductions, along with a comprehensive speaker lineup. Adding to the excitement, a variety of environmentally friendly products were launched, and the Green Forum, held for the first time ever at this year’s show, was the ideal place to exchange information on sustainable green initiatives. Horticulture school feature gardens were also prominently displayed.

“Congress 2009 was a great place to discover hundreds of new products, get the latest ideas for design and construction, attend numerous workshops and network with industry experts and professionals from all different sectors of the business,” added Day.
