Rosa Flora hosted a visit by International Cut Flower Growers conference delegates in 2007.
Established in 1978 by Otto and Corine Bulk, Rosa Flora first grew only fresh hybrid tea roses. Over the years, new crops were added, including alstroemeria, snapdragons, standard and mini gerbera, sweetheart roses and stephanotis. The company alsturbine_rosa_florao partners with other local growers to provide a large assortment of potted plants and an even wider range of fresh cut flowers, including Asiatic lilies, anthurium, freesia, Oriental lilies and statice, among others. “Our partnerships with reliable local growers allow us to provide a large assortment of potted plants, and an even wider range of cut flowers year round.”

An industry leader in green technologies, Rosa Flora has switched from natural gas boilers to biomass-fuelled systems. It also utilizes a wind turbine to supply some of its electricity needs. Rosa Flora also has a cogen unit.
