Van Paassen is the research and development manager with Hoogendoorn Growth Management in the Netherl ands. He will present a pair of talks – How Advanced Greenhouse Technology Can Help You Save Energy – in southwestern Ontario in mid-September:

Van Paassen received his master’s degree from Delft University of Technology.
Hoogendoorn’s R&D department is well-known for its innovative greenhouse controls. Recent developments include the Aircokas concept for semi-closed production, plant sensors (such as the stomata sensor, or Sensiplant), and the new “iSii” climate computer.
