This was indeed a special year for the Canadian Greenhouse Conference.
A special feature of this year’s conference, in celebration of the 30th anniversary, was a keynote presentation by noted environmentalist Dr. Patrick Moore. As well, Leona Dombrowsky, Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, was on hand to tour the trade show and officially open the conference.

New varieties in spotlight |
November 10, 2008 - Many new varieties, along with a number of tried-and-proven veteran garden performers, were featured during this year’s JVK Grower Day. The company is celebrating its 40th anniversary of serving Canadian horticulture. In addition to the JVK display gardens in St. Catharines, the day also featured tours of Proven Winners varieties at nearby Sobkowich Greenhouses.
