Researcher receives prestigious award

Latest ornamental plant varieties at open house
guelph_containers_twoAug. 7, 2008, Milton, Ont. — Landscape Ontario will unveil some of the newest varieties of plants and flowers at a special open house taking place on Aug. 20 in Milton and Guelph. Each year, horticulturists at the University of Guelph plant new varieties in trial gardens to evaluate how they will fare in the gardens of consumers, parks and institutions around Ontario, and other similar environments.
