Harrow hosting open house

OGVG $upport$ migrant worker programs
ogvg_logoMarch 13, 2008, Leamington, Ont. — The Ontario Greenhouse Vegetable Growers   (OGVG) has donated $10,000 to the Leamington-based Migrant Worker Community Program (MWCP). “The MWCP has significant value for the community and all offshore workers in the area,” notes the OGVG in a news release.

Manitoba farm labour regulations updated
March 12, 2008, Winnipeg, Man. — Agricultural workers in the province will have greater protection and improved safety under regulatory changes to the Employment Standards Code, Labour and Immigration Minister Nancy Allan announced recently.

Ontario flower growers no longer shy
