New elements added to CanWest Show Along with the same great trade show, seminar program, new products display area and bus tour attractions, this year’s CanWest Hort Show has added a few new wrinkles. The show, now in its 26th year, is held at the Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Centre. Show dates are Sept. 12-13, with bus tours on Sept. 14. Making their debut next month are: POTTED PLANT FOCUS OF ONTARIO COURSE P otted plants will be the focus of a 10-week night school course for commercial flower growers this fall, sponsored by Flowers Canada Ontario. Cool New Stuff Trial to debut The “What’s New – Cool New Stuff Trial” is about to make its debut in and around the Niagara region of Ontario. This completely free event, being held Aug. 9-10, is sponsored by the Canadian Ornamental Plant Foundation, Greenhouse Grower and Greenhouse Canada. |
