Southeast Changes
OFA: An Association of Floriculture Professionals will begin managing the Southeast Greenhouse Conference in October.

New elements added to CanWest Show
Along with the same great trade show, seminar program, new products display area and bus tour attractions, this year’s CanWest Hort Show has added a few new wrinkles. The show, now in its 26th year, is held at the Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Centre. Show dates are Sept. 12-13, with bus tours on Sept. 14. Making their debut next month are:

POTTED PLANT FOCUS OF ONTARIO COURSE
P otted plants will be the focus of a 10-week night school course for commercial flower growers this fall, sponsored by Flowers Canada Ontario.

Cool New Stuff Trial to debut
The “What’s New – Cool New Stuff Trial” is about to make its debut in and around the Niagara region of Ontario. This completely free event, being held Aug. 9-10, is sponsored by the Canadian Ornamental Plant Foundation, Greenhouse Grower and Greenhouse Canada.
