(ASCFG) has released its 2007 Buyers’ Guide. Featured are cut flower growers from the U.S. and Canada who supply to retail and wholesale buyers, event planners, and floral designers. MID-STATES HORT EXPO GAINING MOMENTUM The Mid-States Horticultural Expo, held this year from Jan. 4-5 in Louisville, Kentucky, attracted 2,132 attendees, a five-per cent increase from 2006. U.S. ‘INDEPENDENT GARDEN CENTER SHOW’ TO DEBUT What’s billed as the first national trade show in the U.S. targeted specifically to independent garden centres and their vendors will debut this summer. BEVO FARMS WINS B.C. SHOWCASE AWARD The B.C. Agricultural Council named Bevo Farms the Showcase Farm of the Year. The award is given to farms that are open to the public or the media to showcase and promote the industry. |
