Job Title: Sales Rep (Horticulture/Floral)

Our client is an established commercial grower with a sound reputation in Canada and US.
Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the CEO, we are looking for someone who is passionate and knowledgeable about the floral/nursery industry. The person must have excellent sales skills to maintain relationships with commercial accounts.
# Grow sales via management of existing commercial accounts
# Coordinates all sales activities with production supervisors and management.
# Develops and operates within monthly and yearly budget forecast plans.
# Coordinates with production manager to ensure plant inventory records are updated and accurate and to ensure production schedules meet customers’ needs.
# Assists with planning and coordinating shipping schedules.
# Manages accounts receivables.
# Responsible for developing and implementing innovative marketing and sales strategies.
# Manages trade show preparation and follow-up.
Qualifications
# Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in sales and / or management in the field of horticulture and excellent reputation in the industry.
# Excellent account management/customer service experience (phone, emails and face to face meetings).
# Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful marketing and sales strategies.
