Riley's Garden Centre, 212 Bath Road, Kingston, Ontairo. The Position The Nursery Manager/Horticultural Specialist is responsible for all aspects of plant care in the daily operation of the greenhouse and nursery. Duties and responsibilities include: · Organizing, directing and overseeing all aspects of greenhouse activities, including planting, propagating and coordinating growth · Supervising, coordinate and provide guidance to greenhouse workers · Maintaining all required records; prepare reports as requested by greenhouse owners. Qualifications · Post-secondary education in horticulture from an accredited institution is essential. · Minimum 5 years’ experience in nursery or greenhouse operation · Proficiency with horticultural terms and designations, including Latin terms for greenhouse stock · Excellent written and verbal communication skills Salary range $36,000.00 - $38,000.00, based on experience Submit resumés to: resumes@hr-ondemand.ca.
